What I learned

I chose this presentation because it challenged me to step outside of just learning information and actually apply it to a real issue that affects people every day. This project showed me how much I’ve improved in analyzing research, understanding policy options, and thinking about what solutions would realistically make a difference. It also pushed me to be more engaged in group work, where I contributed ideas, helped shape how we presented our ideas, and made sure our presentation was clear and impactful. What stands out most to me is that this topic made me care. It was not just about completing an assignment, but about understanding a serious health disparity and thinking about how change can happen. This project reflects my growth in critical thinking, communication, and my ability to connect coursework to real world problems.
