What I learned
I chose this assignment because it represents the depth of work I put into understanding how a healthcare organization operates from a strategic perspective. Developing this analysis of Riley Children’s Hospital required me to examine multiple areas such as environmental factors, competition, internal performance, and long term strategy and bring them together into one clear and organized plan. I spent a lot of time working through real data, identifying key challenges, and connecting those insights to meaningful strategic decisions. What makes this assignment especially important to me is that it pushed me to think beyond basic information and consider how decisions impact both the organization and the community it serves. It also highlights skills I will use in my future career such as strategic planning, data analysis, and professional communication.
